Hey thanks for quoting me in your Guide. :D

You got some weird text above it though (send you a msg).

Also, Taste of Home is still SO much easier than any other DXP mission. Even that Breen one. :p

Still an Excellent Guide and I refer all FDC questers here.

Uhm, I think at this point, until Cryptic makes changes, the general procedures are in the guide, so we don't need any "testers" per se. At this point I'm just posting "diplomatic missions" as I find them so T'Rehes can add them to the Guide. If you find any missions that award Diplomatic XP, that aren't already listed in the Guide, please post them.

The big thing I need right now is for people to test the patrol missions for DXP. I'm in my last semester at school so I don't have much time to do it my self.

    Use this format:

Patrol name: (Patrol the XXXXX System)
    System name:
Mission details: (Scan some ships, etc)

Have any of you noticed the odd bits of diplomacy in the new weekly missions, and if so how did they effect you?

Yup. They have Diplomacy functions in the new Cloaked Intentions Featured Series.
In Mine Enemy, you get more Diplomatic options as you talk to the mine guard. As I understand it, for each rank you have in the FDC, you get another optional Diplo comment you can make to him and each one you use removes an enemy force you have to fight later. If you are a full Federation Ambassador you can talk your way pass the mine guard entirely and when you fight Commander Janek, she'll surrender and you can talk the code out of her which gives you an Accolade: Tal Shiar Statecraft.

Missing the "Taste of Home" diplomatic mission. Easiest diplomatic mission ever.

Haha that one was actually the hardest for me... I had unknowingly gained a tribble and it kept eating it... when I thought I'd ditched my tribble I went back and the same thing happened again! I had to traverse the quadrant 6 times... if I'd passed on the fuel costs it would have been the most expensive snack EVER!

I have this one quest that is supposed to give DXP, after i did aiding the defari and they asked me to bring some ore to outpost 3. When i got to outpost 3 it gave me ask me if i would like to give the ore to the supply office maela but when i click on it instead of allowing me to transport it over, i just get the option to go back in the dialogue. Any help would be welcomed. If this is not to place to ask this question can you please refer me another post when these types of questions are asked. Thanks for you time.

The Ore to Outpost 3 mission is one of two "side missions" available within the Aiding the Deferi (Daily) mission. And while there is a separate Rescue Deferi Captives (Daily) mission near the Kelvani Belt (within the Breen Patrol) that does reward DXP, OtO3 does not reward DXP.

This thread isn't about non-DXP missions, but I can help you easily enough. In the future, if you can't find an exisitng thread that has a matching topic to your question, try using the Search option up top, and failing that, feel free to open a new thread in the Starfleet Academy forums.

In order to deliver the ore to Outpost 3 you first have to pick it up from within the Kelvani Belt. After finishing the Kelvani Belt mission and speaking to the Mining Admin who gives you OtO3, you need to fly over to the mining astoroid while still on the same map. This is a little unclear in the mission text. Near the main asteroid is a smaller one that has a working/animated mining facility on it. Fly close to that and you'll get an interact button to pick-up the Ore. It will actually put something in your inventory, so you'll need one free cell to pick it up.

If you have that item in your Inventory, then Outpost 3's Maela will let you finish OtO3.

    Good luck! :)

Great guide, but (at least) one planet is missing in the list of missions that give DXP:

Pico System Patrol - Patrol the Vulcan Sector
    Reward: 10 DXP
Find and Escort a damaged to a mining station.

The only exploration missions that give DXP and include combat are those in which you have to investigate thet fate of a ship.

Here's a list of Patrol missions that offer Diplo rewards. It's not complete, and a work in progress, but there's about 200 DXP there:

Is this guide still active and up to date with the current systems now that Doffs have been unleashed?
