    Tweet him a happy birthday at @BrentSpiner. (Yes, it really is him. Verified Twitter account and all. Wil Wheaton and LeVar Burton are hanging around Twitter as well.)

    It's the character's "birthday" too. Data was found and activated by the crew of the USS Tripoli on February 2nd, 2338.

    In fact, I've noticed (through looking up this stuff on Memory Alpha) that most of the characters share birthdays with their actors.
