Cannot Rename New Starship

I just got promoted and recieved my new Starship and tried to rename it several times but it would not take for some reason. Just before the server went down I had left Spacedock and tried to rename it again only this time its going to cost me 1000 Starfleet credits to rename it. What gives? I know this is BETA but give a Trekker a break! Still, its a great game, all things considered.
