Cant complete mission System lata Pi W

In the mission where you are requested to provide 10 Provisions to the planet, when you click to deliver the provisions nothing happens.

    After I went to starbase to buy the provisions, once I bought them it shows them delivered and checked blue in the inventory screen but I still have them. After going back to the planet he again asks for them and after I hit "beam them down".......nothing. I still have the provisions, missions is checked off and the next one is "deliver supplies" for which I have no way of knowing what supplies they want. I took a chance and bought medical supplies and went back but still nothing......I hate incomplete missions in my quest log.
