It seems that when you beam to ground your weapon is always drawn. Using H will holster the weapon as it is supposed to.
I can understand always having the weapon drawn for tactical missions where you are beaming down into a possible combat mission.
But returning to Sol and beaming to a non-combat spacedock that showing up with weapons drawn is not appropriate.
