I don't know if this is a feature request or a bug, you decide:
If someone doesn't pick up the item drop in a reasonable amount of time, then the item should become available to anyone to pick up rather than locked in hopes that the person it was assigned to comes and picks it up, because a lot of the time you just see drops sitting around not being picked up.
