Greetings Captains!
We will be having a maintenance tomorrow, 7/18 at 6AM Pacific for 3.5 hours. (What time is this for me?)

    When there's an extra hour added it usually means they are working on the log in server too. But you are wrong it isn't getting longer and longer. Most weeks statically they finish before time.

    What eazzie said. Most weeks it's always 2.5 hours and generally finishes before that time is up. That an extra hour has been added means they're working on something else, like the login server.

    I also appreciate all the fixes.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    If there trying to work on the lag thats a good thing, I have 2 friends that after 2 hours left the game cause of the lag. It took one of them 5 tries to do the flying high event for the tokens cause the lag kept killing her ability to fly right.

    I hope they can fix any lag on their end. As I said above, my problems were thankfully on my end and I was able to fix them by resetting modem/router.

    Not saying there isn't lag on the other end, cause I still experience mild rubberbanding after doing the reset, but I wasn't experiencing SNRs or getting booted.
    Now a LTS and loving it.

    It may be due to this being the point at which they are dropping support for the old 32 bit systems. The game will undoubtedly run much better now with less lag, less crashes, and fewer server timeouts. Should be smooth sailing from here on out.. and into the galaxy. Have Fun & LLAP

    There's a patch to the Arc launcher as well. I tried to start STO to patch and it wanted me to input my password, so exited back out, signed out of Arc and it updated.

    Well, it still wants me to input my password. Must not be ready to update the game launcher yet.
    Now a LTS and loving it.

    I'm now seeing that maintenance will be going until 11:30am Pacific. This means no STO for me today. Losing a day towards the ship and my reps kinda stinks but, whatchagunnado?

    So the Singularity abilities have been wonky for a really long time & never fixed then the moment Feds can begin piloting a singularity core ship the abilities will be fixed? Wow now that is some bias. It might be a positive outcome now, but it should've never been allowed to transgress all this time to begin with.

    So the longer maintenance now ... if it helps the game overall get to it Cryptic & do the best you can.

    General:
    • The Enterprise Pack now actually unlocks the NX Enterprise when bought.
    • To make up for the accounts experiencing this, when you buy the pack a version of the ship appears in the Promotions tab with the word Make Up in its subtitle.
    • They can claim this and it will unlock the actual ship in the Tier 1 tab.

    Heh, you just can't give this thing away fast enough.... 9 years and this has to be the second time it's hit the give it away with other things. It's also funny that for a hero ship that the NX Enterprise is supposed to be... no one seems to want it.

    Things that make you go, hmmm.

    It was always part of the Enterprise Pack. The problem is even if you claimed the NX-01 from the Pack it did not make the C-Store NX Tier 1 Ship as claimable, it retained the 500 Zen price tag, which could cause confusion and extra needless buys.

    I want it. Well, wanted it, back in the day. These days, if it's not a T6 there's zero point in using it unless you like the look of the older T1-T5 ships. I wonder what they are going to do with the old ships now that few, if any, will buy them? Anyway...

    No, this will finally actually unlock the ship in the shipyard for those who bought the pack. At least that is the impression I'm getting, I could be wrong. Regardless, for whatever reason, the ship was never properly unlocked at the shipyard after buying the pack. It would always show as needing to be purchased with Zen despite having bought the pack. The only way to get around this was to reclaim the pack on new characters and have the boxed ship drop in your inventory that way.

    And I think this has been "broken" longer than the Singularity Abilities have been so, it may take them a while to get things fixed, but they are still working towards getting them done at least.

    Today, with the launch of the new ship pack. Feds will be able to fly the new Rom ship, but ONLY the new one. All the older ones are still Rom only.

    Ok Dumb Question, how difficult would it be to update the launcher to read a person’s local system time, and then print out the message

    So for people on the east coast it would go from.
    July 18 from 6AM-12:30 PM Pacific (13:00-19:30 UTC). Please check the forums.
    would then say
    July 18 from 9AM-3:30 PM Eastern (13:00-19:30 UTC). Please check the forums.

    Or for those Kiwis
