ESTABLISHED 2008

Founded in 2008, Stonewall Fleet is one of Star Trek Online's oldest and largest fleets, and we're proudly the premier gāy, lésbian, bisexual, transgender and ally fleet within the game! On July 13th & 14th, 2019, we here in Stonewall will be proud to host our TENTH annual Pride weekend for the Star Trek Online community! This time of year is a time of great celebration for the LGBT+ community. Millions worldwide celebrate in remembrance of the Stonewall Riots, which were a major changing point in the Gāy & Lésbian rights movement that not only affected the GLBT+ community, but the entire world.

Some may ask why we celebrate pride. The reality is that in many countries around the world, LGBT+ people are considered criminals and those who share same sex affection or present themselves differently, are hunted by authorities, jailed and in some cases executed. Government regimes set the tone for how society at large view their LGBT+ brothers and sisters and Pride is symbolic of LGBT+ people rising up against historic oppression for the right to be who we are. While the situation in North America and some European nations is substantially better than in many other places around the world, there's still lots of work to do at home. We're proud to celebrate how far we've come, but continue to strive to make the world a better place for everyone, and we welcome you to come celebrate with us!

Since we're celebrating a decade of Pride in Star Trek Online, we've created an epic event line-up and as always, the events will be open to the entire Star Trek Online community! We warmly welcome you and your fleet to come on out to participate!
