Why You Ask?
1. Why the heck is the Tie pilot not using his/her pew pew lasers (Still say phaser tech is far superior) to shoot her instead of run her over?!
2. Where was Lando in 7 and 8 he was a genral in 6 and why is ja wear the outfit from SOLO?!
3. We all know that both death stars were literally blown to bits in nuclear type explosions at the core with no visible debri of the magnitude shown in this trailer..
4. And how did Palp's corpse reach the Death star laser dish area when he was thrown down a shaft quite a fair bit away from it?!
5. The name and font used for the title is weird to say the least, cause if this is the last of this debacle of a trilogy why "RISE OF SKYWALKER" when the cheif of the star wars franchise has clearly said no more movies after this?!
6. Whats with the wearwolf repair Kylo's helmet?! Some one fired him and told him to fix his TRIBBLE?! Oh his scar also seems to have gone completely, did he find the secret of regeneration?!
7. Last one..Why the heck is Rey taking a running race start when the tie is headed right at her? Was she waiting for the olympic gun to go off to start running?!
This all looks like desperation to get fans back..
PS: They are bringing stuff from the books and Legends into cannon now..Also they want to bring Revan into canon, God only knows how..Go google it..

If people hated The Last Jedi so much how did it make more money than The Force Awakens? The movie had some problems yes, but the story wasn't one of them.
I guess I'm not people, then. I loved TLJ, it was the first movie in the franchise since the original to give me the same emotions as the original.
Interesting. I really disliked it overall, but I really couldn't tell you what my feelings for the original movies were. I didn't see them in the cinema, I am too young for that. I was never really hit with the "full" magic of Star Wars.
There were things I did definitely like, though. The scene with Rey in that Dark Force chamber - I don't really understand what it means, but it was a new facet to Star Wars I didn't expect. (My interpretation at the time was that she was searching for an answer about her past, and she easily tapped into the Dark Side her, hoping for it to give the answer - but the Dark Force cannot give her what she seeks. She isn't hungry for power, she's hungry for understanding. I saw the reflections as a sign how the Dark Side appeals to your ego, but she doesn't have that egomanical streak dark siders have, so it gives her no meaning...)
I also thought Mark Hamill did a fantastic job of playing his character, even though I didn't like what became of Luke, and found it not very plausible and definitely unsatisfying. But as I complain about it; I also feel that the fundamental problem lies at the feet of TFA, not TLJ - he is just another example of how the new movies undo our past hero accomplishments and are turned into failures that get to see everything burned to ashes in front of them. In TFA at least we could still hope that Luke might have a plan or something (with all those maps left behind so you could find him when needed and all that), but TLJ destroys any hope of that. But the scenario from TFA already had its problems - why would Luke run away from his friends and family in times of need and hide for so long?
The interesting thing is a co-worker of mine also said he enjoyed it, and we normally have very similar tastes (though definitely not identical). I never really discussed the movie in more depth with him. But I would be interested to know what you loved about it.
Then again, I liked Solo as well, so...
I liked it. It offered me a bit more world-building which could be useful for my Star Wars RPG campaign.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
i would think if she had deflected ANY blasts at that ship in areas that could disable the weapons, there'd be visible signs of carbon scoring - i didn't see any, and we got several different angle shots of the ship

Yep. Have to agree with this one. Star Wars was critically injured for me during the fight between Rey and Kylo in TFA. The life support plug was pulled when Luke tossed his lightsaber over his shoulder in TLJ. The memorial service happened when Leia "Mary Poppins" her way back to the door. Burial was somewhere in between when Rose rammed into Finn and when Luke died. I have little desire to see The Rise of Skywalker short of when its free on cable. I don't know, they might have a compelling story that ties the trilogy together in a satisfying way, but there is no way on Earth that I'm paying Disney & Lucasfilm full ticket price for it. My two EC.

And speaking of force-sensitive Skywalkers, I've got a nagging suspicion that they're going to pull a "Rey is actually a Skywalker!" twist. No real evidence, mind, just a vague sense. I mean, it's not the first time we've had the writers do an abrupt about-face and say "these two characters are actually related!" I hope not, though, that would be lame. It would explain why Rey is so powerful, since the Skywalker family seems to be particularly strong in the Force (being conceived by midichlorians, after all), and Hollywood Law demands that specialness is inherited from ancestors, rather than arises independantly. I hope not, though Rey Skywalker would be a lame twist.
So what, neither you nor anyone else here will force me to change my mind, and I will never agree with you.
That aside, lets look at the old EU. Star Wars on life support, when Chewbacca sacrificed himself to save Anakin Solo, followed immediately by Anakin's death making Chewie's sacrifice meaningless. Star Wars with the plug pulled, when Jacen Solo went dark side and killed his twin sister and Luke's wife. Star Wars dead as a frakkin doornail, the Yuuzhan Vong.
So it was dead as a doornail before the plug was pulled? (Jacen went darkside after the Yuuzhan Vong spent so much time torturing him, until he found a way to use something like the Force against them.)
I mean, I'm not disagreeing - there's a reason they dumped all that stuff into the "Legends" category...

1. How do you know that Rey had not already disabled the TIE's weapoms by deflecting blasts back at it?
2. Lando could have done as he did in the EU and returned to Cloud City, he could also have been searching for his kidnapped child or children, or even simply retired to have a family.
3. We did not see enough detail to kmow there was no large debris, and even in Trek matter/antimatter warp core breaches leave debris.
4. Nothing was shown hinted or implied about Palpatine's body.
5. Nobody involved with Star Wars has said no more movies, there are 2 new trillogies in active development.
6. What werewolf? Also as a few frame by frame analysis show Kylos face is more damaged now, showing pockmarks, and sparking speculation that the dark side is corroding his body.
7. To achieve correct spacing to make her leap succesfully.
PS. One of the in development trilogies is, according to the people making it (Game of Thrones showrunners), set in the Old Republic era, Revan's era.

PS: Its all rumors as reported by IGN and there is nothing much except a line in the article that says it cannot be in the OLD REPUBLIC because it is 4000 years before the galactic republic so the outline will be themed like the old republic but isin't..Another thing to note is all the articles remotely available are pre the announcement of star wars being put on a long icy hold..

In short the TRIBBLE hit the fan quite early..
Episode 7 = Rey aka MARY SUE Awakens and amazingly has nearly the same lightsaber skills as PALP's to whoop Kylos TRIBBLE and weak force abilities WITHOUT ANY TRAINING..
Episode 8 = The last Jedi aka Mary Sue is able to whoop Luke's TRIBBLE and has even more "RAW POWER" than before and Leia turns out to be Mary Poppins (No disrespect to Carrie Fisher)..
Episode 9 = Mary Sue becomes more acrobatic and might turn out to be a skywalker because, lets face it, Liea is dead, Kylo was originally Ben Solo and is aligned to the dark side, Luke's dead, and all we have from the trailers is Rey using the skywalker saber which has been passed down through generations..

The Werewolf thing was a joke..Was watching at the speed mentioned cause after seeing it the first time, I like to go back and see if anything missed like the Rocket troopers also visible for a fraction of a second which can be easily missed at normal speed..

It would explain why Rey is so powerful, since the Skywalker family seems to be particularly strong in the Force (being conceived by midichlorians, after all), and Hollywood Law demands that specialness is inherited from ancestors, rather than arises independantly. I hope not, though Rey Skywalker would be a lame twist.
I mean, I'm not disagreeing - there's a reason they dumped all that stuff into the "Legends" category...
1. If she did why not stand her ground and grip the tie fighter with the force if she is as powerful as claimed to be even with thousands of generations of the Jedi knowledge?

3. Atleast no debri visible and only space dust from the first death star at Yavin 4 which is a jungle moon..The second death star had only one or two visible debris but that was again over another jungle moon of Endor..
4. As per books and legends, the Sith ghosts normally hang around their tombs and or items the valued/hold close..

6. If you watched the trailer at 0.25 speed you'd notice the hands fixings Kylos helmet..And watching the trailer at 1:15 the scar which Rey gave him at the end of episode 7 is non existent..
7. Again..She had enough of room to time her jump forwards and deal a well placed lightsaber cut..Why would anyone want to have their back towards a threat and jump acrobatically?! Also she could have caught the tie fighter with the force as I stated in point 1..
PS: Its all rumors as reported by IGN and there is nothing much except a line in the article that says it cannot be in the OLD REPUBLIC because it is 4000 years before the galactic republic so the outline will be themed like the old republic but isin't..Another thing to note is all the articles remotely available are pre the announcement of star wars being put on a long icy hold..

In short the TRIBBLE hit the fan quite early..
Episode 7 = Rey aka MARY SUE Awakens and amazingly has nearly the same lightsaber skills as PALP's to whoop Kylos TRIBBLE and weak force abilities WITHOUT ANY TRAINING..
Episode 8 = The last Jedi aka Mary Sue is able to whoop Luke's TRIBBLE and has even more "RAW POWER" than before and Leia turns out to be Mary Poppins (No disrespect to Carrie Fisher)..
Episode 9 = Mary Sue becomes more acrobatic and might turn out to be a skywalker because, lets face it, Liea is dead, Kylo was originally Ben Solo and is aligned to the dark side, Luke's dead, and all we have from the trailers is Rey using the skywalker saber which has been passed down through generations..

The Werewolf thing was a joke..Was watching at the speed mentioned cause after seeing it the first time, I like to go back and see if anything missed like the Rocket troopers also visible for a fraction of a second which can be easily missed at normal speed..
