2015/2018 anniversary glitch

I've actually had this glitch for a while.

I have the 2015 anniversary quest in my event repitation. It requires 2018 event tokens.

I was unable to use the event so I just left it. What should I do with this?

This is the Winter Event project and not the Anniversary Event project.
When the Winter Event comes around in December, you'll find that this project updates to accept Winter 2019 vouchers.
If you slot the 2019 Project on another character, you'll be able to earn both ships by running the race on 2 characters.
