Hitting the Backspace Button In Textbox Turns my Headset Mic On and Off

I have run into a really annoying problem since the last patch. Whenever I type in-game and use the backspace key, the microphone on my headset turns on or off. I checked the key binding for the game and changed the microphone settings, making sure backspace did not activate the microphone. Despite doing this several times and making sure my settings saved, the backspace key will still turn my microphone on and off. I checked the proprietary software as well and there is nothing wrong outside of Star Trek Online. What is going on? Is this fixable?
EDIT: I figured out what the problem was. It was due to Arc's own in-game client setting backspace as the microphone activation key by default. I am surprised this has not cropped up for anyone else. I was able to change it rather easily and the issue has since stopped. To reset this key, go into the "Streaming (Beta)" section of the in-game client and there you can change the keybinding.
