TOS Dreadnought and Jem'hadar questions

If my Jem'hadar is allied to the Federation, can he use the TOS Dreadnought Atlas class? (I just want to be 100% sure)
Should I turn it into a "beam boat" or keep polaron dual heavy cannon build?
I'm on Xbox and I figured out how to be nimble with my Jem'hadar dreadnought so I can get goot DPS with the cannons but unless I'm mistaken, the Atlas isn't quick enough for cannons.
Another friend (who gave me the Atlas) recommended I give it to my Discovery Captain since it's Agony build. I want my Jem'hadar Captain to have the best ship I got but Discovery Captain needs love too.

Moderators, please lock this thead, I already gave the Atlas to my Discovery captain and couldn't find an answer to the questions regarding Jem'hadar and Federation ships they have access to.
