Do I need to cancel a current sub in order to purchase a lifetime sub for an account

I want to upgrade my second account to lifetime. My main account is already lifetime.

Do I need to cancel my current sub (go to F2P) before buying the lifetime or will it auto-convert when I buy the lifetime sub? I searched the support page and did not find an answer. My search-fu is apparently lacking.

    No, you do not have to cancel your current subscription to upgrade to LTS.
