September 21, 2105: The Martians and werewolves begin construction of their first Mana Drive propelled ships (MSS Minerva and LCS Rama) to protect their worlds from US incursions. In response, the US reauthorizes Project Orion in an attempt to rush its space fleet into service. It manage to constructs 4 Orion spacecraft in a few months which poses a potential threat to the other 2 factions.

December 12, 2105: In response to this, the Martians and Lopan Confederacy begin a rapid buildup of their space fleets. They also put their planetary defenses on high alert and declare their independence from Terra. This declaration takes a few months to reach the Terrans due to light delay. As of now, tensions are rising among all 3 factions as the Sol system slowly descends into war.

March 3, 2106: American and European leaders receive the declaration and convene in London to discuss how to dominate the Sol system. However, both parties begin to argue over who gets to control the planets. The US adopts an imperialist stance due to resource requirements to sustain its fleet while its European counterpart begins construction of aneutronic nuclear fusion powered ships to keep up. The Americans and European private space companies build robots to mine fusion fuel from Luna for their governments’ spacecraft. Both factions respond by positioning their warships in close proximity to Mars and the Jovian moons which is seen as a violation of Martian and Confederate space.

April 10, 2106: The first shots of the Sol War are fired by the USS Sadavir Errinwright at 0134 hours. The ship’s bomb pumped lasers manage to score hits on the MSS Juno’s armor which results in multiple breaches and casualties. The Juno responds in kind by firing its railguns and torpedoes at the Errinwright forcing the ship to retreat to its battle group at Terra. Numerous battles would take place in the next 9 years including the Battle in Martian orbit and Jovian battles.

August 4, 2114: Angered by the slow pace of the war, the Terrans decide to drop asteroids on Mars and Ganymede in an attempt to bring an end to the Sol War. This causes both the Martians and Lopan Confederacy to respond by dropping asteroids on American and European cities/factories to permanently cripple the Terran war machine. The next year, the Battle of Terran Orbit which ends with 600,000 Terrans dead or wounded and 5 billion Martians and werewolves dead or wounded.
