Error: You are not invited to a fleet!

On several of my characters, I am presented with a FLEET INVITE. Whether I click on Accept or Decline the response is the same: "Error: You are not invited to a fleet". The really weird thing is on one of my characters, the fleet invite is from the fleet I am already in.

I think this is related: I tried opening a bug report in game and the bug report dialog wasn't responding but did at least let me close the dialog.

    I have a bug where if I have a pending fleet invite and I switch to a character in a fleet it will display a fleet invite for the fleet I am already in. My other toons also have a message that looks like an invite—I think the fleet name is blank if they are not in a fleet. I am not certain this is what is happening to you.

    However I speculate if you find the toon that initially received the invite you may be able to properly accept or decline it. At least that was how I had to resolve it in my case.
