Unable to upgrade gear

in Xbox One Gameplay Bug Reports
I am unable to upgrade the Romulan Advanced Prototype Impulse Engine or Deflector Dish. I have the upgrades and dilithium, but they do not appear as a choice in the upgrade item tab. I have upgraded several other gear pieces, am I misunderstanding something with these pieces of gear?

    Anyone else have this problem? I've searched and searched and can find nothing on this.

    Just solved my own problem. You can select the item in inventory and choose upgrade rather than selecting it in the upgrade item tab, in case anyone else has this issue. Thanks anyway to who ever may have read.
