Overwhelming Force trait with pets

Hi all! When this trait came out, my hangar pets with torpedo high yield and beam overload also got this effect, and now with an other trait to remove the knockback it would be pretty neat to combo it.
I don't know when, because I stopped playing for a while, I realized my hangar pets no longer have the bonus from the trait. Was it considered too OP? I really liked it, not because it was OP, but because my fighters looked a lot more useful. Instead of removing the buff altogether, changing the damage from particle burst and photonic shockwave for the hangar pets to be acceptable would've been awesome. Any chance of this happening?
