You're both missing the point. The Kazon are somehow the only significant multi-system polity (or technically group of polities, given they're a bunch of feudal nomadic clans) in their region of the galaxy, in spite of the fact they canonically do not understand what for us the viewers of the show is elementary-school-level chemistry or astronomy. That's the same category of nonsensically idiotic writer fiat as making Trip Tucker the chief engineer of a starship (or for that matter a senior naval officer in any capacity whatsoever) despite the fact he canonically cannot do basic algebra (also the writers for that abortion of a show literally thought there was the remotest similarity between a matter-antimatter reactor and an outboard motor).

Except, as the map shows, the Vidiian Sodality, the Haakonian Order, and the Swarm who are just off the map, are all shown to be on par with even some of the larger Alpha/Beta Quadrant powers in the same area of space as the Kazon.

The main reason the Kazon are so wide spread is because of their factional nature. Each sect has claimed territory for themselves.

Oh look, off topic thread derailment for a specific users personal topic of interest. How long until this is spun off into its own thread with a mocking title?

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.
