So who broke the sorting code?

I notice that the sorting of items is changed and in some parts objectively broken.

1) Some inventory items, like Elite Marks and Pets, are now sorted toward the end, and every time you sort, the order will change. THis means for some reason the sort function is not stable.
2) Admirality ship with same or similar names are not sorted in next to each other. Examples. The Tier 6 Andorian Escorts all start with Andorian in the same, which makes them pretty unique in the Very Rare Tier, and before this update, you could always find them together. Now, they are not always found together, and other ships get between them. If you happened to reclaim the V.S.S. Tanius via the Phoenix Pack and then again via the Event Project, you could have two of them - these two ships are no longer found next to each other. I strongly suspect there is a random factor in here, probably each time the list is rebuild and sorted anew, the order can change.

So, who "refactored" the sorting code? ;)

    I think the "Random" code from the TFO's as infected other systems it seems. The inventory and bank seems to be suffering a bad case of randomitus.

    Depends. I sold a key for 25 million today. Others sold keys for 50 million and allegedly 400 million for a single key.

    Well for close to two years now the sorting order for Doffs if you wish to select for a Mission rather than take the recommended ones is out of wack. The Green preferred Doff Professions and Traits and Red not preferred Traits used to be at the top of the list. They went to the bottom of the list and have remained there despite Bug Reports.
