Low power setting?

My jemmies engines give additional power at "low weapon power". I have +weapon power from many other sources.

To get the benefit (min/max) from the engines, should I set it to 45? Or do I need to set it so my total including other sources is below 50?

you do not want to ever run weapon power less than 100% unless you are tanking or running a torpedo boat or epg/drain build. the low power level bonus does NOT make up for it. the only ships I do not run ma power to weapons are my T'Varo bomber and B'Rel bomber
