Why can't I get credit for missions?

After I finish a mission, I'm unable contact the NPC that rewards me with experience and other items.

I found this to be broken also. For Delta mission that I completed, I found the NPC mission contact in Delta Command to complete the mission.

And there's the rub. Because "Hail Starfleet" is disabled, completed missions can only be collected if the appropriate contact can be found in social zones. That means missions given by Adm. Quinn, Adm. T'nae, Sarish Minna, the Delta Quadrant contact, etc. are completable, but all others are not.

My guess is this is related to the changes to the log book. Numerous missions that have been removed are slated to be returned at some point, and no doubt we've all noticed that the "Available" tab is empty. For now, if you want to keep playing I'd suggest just dropping completed missions. That's what I've been doing. After all, I've completed most episodes countless times, and already have all the rewards I want.
