The First Circle was an intergalactic civilization of dragons that originated on a Terra class world in Sigma Draconis. They built the Mana Gateway Network to create their empire and were the first race to reach the intergalactic stage and seed various worlds with life. Their empire lasted for millennia until the First Circle were nearly wiped out by another extragalactic threat (Iconian Empire). In 2412, the Alliance discovered the database on Sigma Draconis containing all information on the FC's technology and how to operate the Gateway Network. Alliance RnD decided to recreate the ships for its officers. They are the Bahamut class carrier, Tiamat class battleship, Ladon frigate, Fafnir cruiser, and Drake class destroyer.
