Low FPS on character creation screen

For a couple of days now I have a very low frame rate when I'm on the character creation screen, about 4 to 7 fps.
On the main menu and in the game itself, everything is fine and my frame rate is above 100 fps as it should.
This low frame rate started after a hot fix.

    I'm experiencing the same severe framerate drop in the character creation menu.

    Same here. Been going crazy playing with different settings trying to resolve it. The rest of the game runs fine under optimal setting.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

    I think not allot of people hang around the character creation screen that much and haven't even noticed this recent problem.

    I myself love to create characters and their distinct looks, I have dozens of character looks saved (save Outfit option) on my account.
    So this problem really bugs me more than your average STO player, it's currently a real hassle to create a character when you have 7 frames max.

    Really hope this gets more attention from the developers and will be fixed soon.

    I have the same issue as well, and on top of it, once I do manage to create a new character, I don't have access to any of the veteran rewards or discount packs I've purchased (Lifetime subscriber perks, DS9 bundle, etc).

    Thankfully, it seems to be happening only in the creation menu and not the tailor one (for me, at least).

    Ok, looks like they fixed it, I have a normal frame rate again on the character creation screen.

    I'm a new player and I am having this problem right now even though some say it's been fixed already.
