Greetings Captains!
We will be having a maintenance tomorrow, 7/18 at 6:30AM Pacific on all platforms. PC will be down for ~3 hours, Console will be down for 2.5 hours. (What time is this for me?)
You can find our PC patch notes here. No patch notes for Console, just regular maintenance. There will not be Thursday maintenance this week.

    Another Phoenix Pack Event with new additions, finally.

    The Future Flyer Powerboard and Kobali Soldier Uniform are the ones I'm most interested in.

    And a new model/skin for the Excelsior? Okay. :)

    Odd to have maintenance on a Wednesday but it's alright.

    Indeed, I was thinking the same thing! They've added, from what I can gather, everything from before June 2017 but the Stadi...would be really nice for my new Delta and JH toons to have access!

    Actually, the Sompek Pulswave was Aug-Sep 2017, after the Interphasic Instability, which was in June, so not really surprising it's not added yet. I'd say the next time they run Phoenix after this is when it should be added...

    Baseball Hats can now be worn in the Off Duty uniform category.
    A welcome change. With this being the case, I hope we will be seeing more of these caps in the future. At the least, a blank one whose 'segments' (six in all) and bill can be colored individually; logos can then be added later.

    A friend of mine wanted the old anniversary party poppers and horns added to the Phoenix box. Also, the Festive Party Popper from the 3-year anniversary is broken. It no longer makes balloons of starships, only regular round balloons. And it no longer makes balloons of different sizes; all the balloons are the same size.

    Yikes. T4 for the Kobali uniform. Will finally be able to start loading that onto my characters. FINALLY!

    THAT was me. But I think that the missing balloons are a bug on Risa.....I just been too busy with collecting lohlunat tokens and bawling out my floaters and power boards during the races that I have not been back to check it. Plus I am busy making everyone birds that match their swimwear, now that the birds are working, again.

    Year 3 Popper makes all the balloons on First City.... just did not on see them on Risa. Plus, you forgot the part about balloons sinking to the bottom of the water instead of floating on top and flying into the air.

    I have to double check with some other characters and on the Fed and Rom side...etc...etc...
    Yes, there will be a good post about it in the bug report forums...on my favorite Year 3 Party Popper...once I find the time for it.

    Sweet, Kobali uniform on tier 4. Also a skin revamp for the Excelsior is always nice.

    I still wish they would fix the issue with Future Proof missions being unskippable at the right levels, I want to play the New Frontiers missions on my other toons without being forced to do all of Future Proof before unlocking it.

    Vanguard Jem'Hadar essentially have no species trait, ground or space.

    Ever going to fix it?

    I haven't really felt like bringing out my T6 Fleet Advanced Cruiser but I may just do this for Artan's sake lol.

    Risian birds are actually still broken. They fixed the bug that caused the birds to get lost and circle around backwards endlessly, but they haven't fixed the other animation errors. The tail feathers still bend the wrong way when the birds flap their wings, and the birds have crushed chests when they're standing on the ground.

    Wait, are you telling me the popper is only broken on Risa? That would be odd.

    I'm not sure if the balloons ever floated in the water. Considering how the physics in this game are all faked, they might not have ever considered how the balloons are supposed to interact with water.

    There's still the question about the last tier duty officer commendation reward for Gamma Recruits (Elder Malik'itan). It says the duty officer is a SPACE warfare specialist but it can only be put on active GROUND duty.

    any idea if this may have sneaked in the jem'hadar fleet/lobi outfits to work with this, on tribble they work just not sure if tribble is old patch or its what we are updating too.

    Still no blockage for opening lockboxes for the Belgian & Dutch players, as both governments have concluded that lootboxes/lockboxes are gambling and are forbidden.

    The lockboxes in STO work differently than most other games, they are legal. Even in Belgium and the Netherlands... Stop bringing this up every day.

    Unusual day for a patch. Is tomorrow a holiday in the US?
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Not that I know of. Hopefully there won't be a patch day tomorrow too as there's a lot of fixes in this one
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Nice to see new things inthe Phoenix Pack, and hoping ISS Stadi card was only left out of the list by mistake. It's only been <looks at calendar> 350 days since the last new stuff was added. Will that be the new schedule? Update it about once a year?

    All of the fleet outfits worked on my Klingon-allied Jem'Hadar when I unlocked them on Holodeck a few weeks ago. I probably didn't try every single part, but what I saw worked. I didn't try Bortas'qu, of course, because I don't expect anything that Romulans can't wear to work for Jem'Hadar, either.
    This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.

    I remember the crushed chests when we were looking at the View Birds. That still happening? Have you looked at one of your birds on SFA or on KDF Academy??? I wonder how birds look on DS9...that place is new.

    Yup. Odd. I was talking to the other Priscilla about it the other day. I don't know if it is Risa, or my Ferengi's popper is broken, or what. THIS is why I want to pull more of my characters that have Y3 poppers out of Risa and check some more. But not chasing bugs while I am collecting Lohlunat favors. (Won't be something that gets fixed real fast, anyways.)

    The balloons used to float on top of the water. And they would float up in the air when you kick them and get stuck in the palm trees. I must have taken pictures of this, somewhere.......

    So patch today in anticipation of something from the patch needing patched tomorrow?

    Just a thought but maybe the popper balloons are nocturnal.
