Gravimetric Duty officer--Gravity well

Can you not have more than one of these duty officers?
So far I have 1 torp duty officer and 1 gravity well duty officer with 3 empty spaces for space duty officer. The game will not let me slot another doff for grav well, regardless of rarity. Does anyone know hopw many of this doff i can equip to active duty? I have multiple torpedo doffs equiped on my romulan tac, but my fed scientist seems to be only able to equip one with grav well ability. Can anyone elaborate? Thank you.

Only 1 Gravimetric Scientist can be equipped at one time. This limitation is not effected by rarity, it's by profession so you cannot get around it by mixing rarity.

Your Torpedoes are effected by Projectile Weapons Officers which have a limit of 3 at a time.

IIRC, in general, Duty officer come in two types - one can be slotted up to 3 times, and the other only once.

You can equip up to 3 Damage Control Officers, Technicians and Projectile Duty officers for example, but you can only equip one Gravimetric Scientist.

Thank you guys for your answers. Does the game tell you which can be slotted multiple times, and which can not, or how do i know exactly other than to purchase the duty officer from exchange to find out if they can or not.

If I recall correctly, it doesn't say in the officer description that only 1 may be equipped at a time. The only way I know is to try and equip a 2nd one.

If you want to check first without acquiring a 2nd version you could always just look up the officer type on the Wiki Page.

That only 1 thing is a real pain at times. IIRC it's the fabrication DoFF, but there is at least one DoFF that can be found with two drastically different powers, but it will only let you slot one of them. Another, or perhaps the same one, that can be found with a space power or a ground power, yet it will still only let you slot one of them.

I can understand the three DoFF limit, I can even understand why some DoFFs only allow one as more than that would make some things even more ridiculously over powered. Not being able to slot two DoFFs with totally different powers just because they are the same type is stupid makes no sense though.
    LTS and loving it.

According to the Wiki page, the following DOFFs are limited to one on active duty at a time:

    Ground Warfare Specialist

    Space Warfare Specialist

    Armory Officer

    Consultant

    Fabrication Engineer

    Matter-Antimatter Specialist

    Warp Core Engineer

    Explosives Expert

    Quartermaster

    Sensors Officer

    Tractor Beam Officer

    Astrometrics Scientist

    Biologist

    Gravimetric Scientist

    Biochemist

The rest are limited to three.

In the case of civilians, few offer any active duty benefit at all but there are some special cases.
The Wiki does not indicate how many may be placed on active duty at a time, however, in the event that someone may have two or more that offer a benefit.
