180 torps

We need more of these. It really sux that there are so few. My rom torp capt has access to 2 potentially, 1 a super expensive nearly impossible to find transphasic torp and 2 very bad missle systems

My rom captain can't is fed aligned but I'm not allowed to buy the fed ship that comes with the 180 quantum, I'd throw down cash for that in a heartbeat.

Those are the only 180 torp in the game. We need more.

Would be nice if they were not unique as well. I have about 6 from different sources but can only fit 3 at once.

I am of the opinion that other issues need to be fixed, either in tandem with, or prior to, the creation of more 180 degree torps.

In case you have not seen it the Gamma rep has added another 180 torp. It is now possible to make a useable 180 torp boat. Three 180 torpedoes and two 180 missiles.

The more I use the 3, 180 torps the more they are growing on me. The wide angle torpedo spread really helps to boost overall damage when less than 5 ships are in the front 90 arc. The missiles on the other hand I only tend to use on shuttles.
