Why are exploding Borg Cubes invisible?

At least to me? Is that a known bug that everyone has and no one talks about, or is something only affecting me?

    They are too big.

    I've had the same issue with the Snowlord in Winter Wonderland. At times it was also invisible.

    Another bug with the cubes is that whenever you create a rift, they move downward a few kilometers. As if something is causing friction and sending them down a bit. I guess it's another consequence of the same issue: their size.

    It happens to me too, but it did so for, I want to say, at least two years. So I figured it's one of those things that's just like that now, like the myriad of broken ground animations.​​

    I think that's intended. Unfortunately.

    Same thing with Tricorder scan and Target optics at one moment suddenly having lost their expose chance. These are changes with far-reaching consequences for gameplay on the ground for some builds, I doubt they would have left it broken for so long so I think they changed it on purpose.

    But it's not just the animation that has changed. The rifle butt used to have an expose chance as well if you hit enemies multiple times with your weapon.

    I don't think that's still the case but I could be mistaken here.

    Maybe as it explodes their stash of "invisi torps" also go boom rendering the cube itself invisible.
