Colony space defense spawn point messup

I recently did a colony defense queue that ended badly.
3 Voth Citadel Dreadnaughts all parked on the respawn point, no spawn protection.
Each time I respawned, my ship was instantly obliterated.
After the third warp core based fireworks show, I gave up and just stayed defeated until the timer expired to remove the enemies from the map.
Obviously with an error of this magnitude, the queue needs to be reworked to make sure the dreadnaughts stay away from the spawn point!
FYI, Voth are the enemy I fear most in STO space combat, because of their damage blocking shields.
And they weren't hesistant about using them here either!
An entire Voth battlegroup with synced shields is a scary sight to see.........
