T6U upgrades(Secondary deflectors)

Is it possibly when T7 comes out that we get upgrades like a T6U jupiter that gains a secondary deflector as it's bonus. Something to bring it more up to part with current science ships? Along with whatever else is added of course.

    When that happens it still won't get a sec. defelctor because it's not categorized as pure sci ship but a full fledged carrier.
    Tac carriers don't get a heavy wepaon, eng carriers don't get cruiser commands and sci carriers don't get a sec. delfector.

    Unless it's a heavy dreadnought from the 26th century because those broke all conventions so far.

    This again, the last word from the Devs has not changed, there is no projection for T7, period.

    There is so much wrong with this post I don't even know where to begin..

    From the assumption that T7 is going to happen (it's not) to somehow thinking the Jupiter is a Science ship or needs to be buffed in order to compete..

    The answer to everything you posted is just.. no.
