I have no idea if this has been suggested or is even possible.
Fleet projects are very passive, dump your doffs dil, etc and wait 20 hours. Pretty boring.
Would it be possible to create maps where fleet members can activly assist in projects. Flying around in workerbees, excavating or construction, IDK like adding abit of Space Engineers to the game. Perhaps a small reward in project points to bring value to the work. I've seen potential elements already in game, the tractor locks from Core Assault can be adapted team fleetmembers securing structural components to their starbase. Some of the minigames can be turned into survey and mapping for colony sites etc.
Mainly just looking for something else, to liven things up.
