well, you could put the gear in your inventory then swap, but you'd prob have to swap a few times. Wait, didn't they add a feature where you could remove a piece of gear from an inactive ship by left clicking on the gear slot in your current ship? It pulls up a list of gear options, that IIRC includes inactive ships. the currently equipped piece goes to your inventory though, so to store it on your other ship you'd need to swap to that.

This only works in certain places, and the main benefit of the SCS ship selector is that you can change load outs on any of your ships, so your inventory doesn't fill up.

*grumbles about his Ferengi Privateer not having access to a Nandi*

This made me laugh. I apologize.

I also despise the Ferengi, even though I like that ship. Ferengi for the most part as a species is not very likable.

One good thing about Ferengi is that, as a racial trait, they get a discount on EC purchases from commodity stores.

I don't buy commodities from commodity stores. I buy them from my vendor on my Tuffli and shunt them to whoever needs them. Or I use my replicator. More expensive, yes, but I don't buy that many at a time,

Same here. :) There was a time I diligently went to my Tuffli, to get those 1,200 EC commodities (for 600); but now, is it bad I can't be bothered any more switching ships? Besides, I use those mats for doffing only, anyway.

P.S. Nandi is a surprisingly good ship. Like my Vorgon Heavy Escort. Cryptic can be greedy, at times, but they certainly don't skimp on their free event ships.

These mistakes are happening time and time again, to the point that it goes beyond accepting mistakes can happen and a running joke, to showing laziness and ineptitude in the work you do. they can't even post blogs without proof reading them 1st and making sure the "DATES" are correct.

If Cryptic want me to continue spending money for their services they need to raise their game big time.

Edit : Its also been over a year and the call freighter whilst in sector space still has the Account Bank access disabled WTF !

Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.

On the other hand, they fixed the missing 11th console on the Miradorn fast enough, once they were made aware of it. So, relax, you'll get your amenities soon enough. This was meant to be a Tuffli kinda ship, and it soon will be.

There's been a typo in the tooltip for combat impulse engines since... forever.

I've no concerns about them fixing it, Borticus appeared on the Reddit thread to say as much, my concern is these simple mistakes keep happening. the guy responsible for adding these features needs to own up that he forgot his email password and locked himself out so it can be reset so then gets the memo in the future to avoid this

QA has never been Cryptic's strong suit. I believe it was Dstahl who once admitted (in a podcast) that they simply don't have the resources to do the kind of QA testing they probably should be doing. So, bugs happen. This one, I must admit, is indeed a rather large oversight. But, like Bort said, maybe it was actually done, but didn't make it off Tribble in time. Who knows!?

What gets people about problems like this and the infamous healing railgun is that it looks as though no testing whatsoever was done.

The problem is on Tribble too; that's where I noticed it.

LOL. Wish I could relativate your comment; but, sadly, I can't. :) I mean, picture this, no one, no, not even once, undocking with the ship, and if not testing them all, than at least verifying the *presence* of the amenities. That's some majorly messed up 'miscommunication'. You'd think you're dealing with the 'well-oiled machine' of the Trump administration. :P

Bort literally said "or that they somehow didn't make it into the build that went live." So, they may have their own (internal) test environment too.
