Lukari Space/Ground Barbie

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Worked on one of my Alts over the weekend. A Federation Alien Engineer. After 15 days of turning in 100 Lukari marks for 15 of the Protomatter Microcontainer's I was able to get the Lukari Proto-Restorative Combat Armor.

After a few hours of playing with the colors this was what I was able to come up with. The hardest problem was with the eyes, spacing and colors but overall I am satisfied with the end results. Your thoughts?

    Looks pretty good to me.

    I'm confused about the Terran badge and Federation belt, though. Strange addition.

    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Does the costume unlock for your bridge officers too or did you have to grind out five sets?

    Its across the board. Captain AND BOffs can use unlocked armor visuals.

    I think I'm going to remove the belts and put a Federation badge on the males, thanks for the feedback.

    No. The Lukari are an offshoot of the Kentari. Kinda like how the Tok'ra are an offshoot of the Goa'uld in Stargate. Technically same species, but different philosophies.

    Back on Tribble before the rep was released I created these mock-ups

    In the meantime I have improved the costumes and colour code, but I will only be able to get new screenshots in the next couple of days pig-1.gif The basic scheme was more inspired by Kuumaarke's outfit and not the "canonical" Lukari armour colours.​​

    I'm still hoping we'll get an option of getting a Lukari Bridge Officer as a story arc reward. :)

    When people say "space Barbie", they're referring to STO's tailor system in its entirety, not just the "space" portion of it. That includes the "ground" portion.

    Yep. The Lukari are one of the few NPC races we've come across that I would actually want to include in my bridge officers. :)
