Game Crashing possibly due to the Aegis Impulse Engine on Temporal Agent

Was flying through the Dyson Sphere - Contested and the Undine Battlezone with the Aegis ImpulsEngine (mark XII if it matters) equipped as my impulse engines and the Reman Shield as a cosmetic item and the game crashes after a while. I believe it to be due to the Aegis Impulse Engine due to the fact that I had previously been flying without it without any problems. Tried it with two ships: the T6 Temporal Science Vessel and the T6 Tactical Command Battlecruiser.

The game will crash in the Dyson sphere even without the Aegis equiped.
