Many of my earlier complaints were of my own miss understanding but I'm enjoying the conversations. And would love to carry on with micro complaints, would like to see changed, things of that nature.

the game is 7 years on PC and 6 mounts on consoles, should they give you everything in one go? why would you go for PC to consoles is beyond me.

    LOL...

If you played STO on the PC for a while, then you probably were around for the limited time giveaways Cryptic usually has during January and August (I think). Cryptic gave players a chance to claim specific items from the C-Store for 24 hours including costumes. Players that weren't around for the free costumes... well, they would need to buy 'em.

I'm guessing you were able to use the Sojourner's skin on your PC account because you purchased the ship. I'm surprised you didn't complain about not being able to select the T4 Sao Paulo Tactical Escort Refit for free from the C-Store because Federation players were able to claim the ship for free just prior to the 2016 Anniversary Event.

I don't know how much the 23rd Century Bundle costs on the consoles or PC, but everyone was able to claim it for free during Star Trek's 50th Anniversary.

Nothing in the C-Store is free, except for occasional promotional events.

I used to consider your deals pretty good. Needless to say fire the idiot who made this massive error and fix the bundles and prices or not one more penny will you get from me and hopefully anyone else with any sense

The PC, Xbox, and PS4 versions of STO are completely separate. Nothing you do in one affects the others, which allowed people to come into the consoles without getting curb-stomped in PVE (and soon PVP) by PC players with 7 years of ships and gear. That happens anyway for newbies coming to the PC but with the console release there's a lot more to be gained from a fresh start.

Contents of bundles are also very specifically listed out. If you buy one and then later find that it doesn't interest you, well just take it as a lesson to read what you're buying. And for the record, costumes+interior+shuttle would run more than 1k zen if itemized in the c-store. Hence the bundle.

Some of the complaints are the result of a very irrational perspective. You are not paying 2500 or 3000 zen for the Sojourner skin, you are paying for a completely separate ship. You're not just getting the skin for that 3000 zen, you'll get a lot more.

Although I do agree that the latest ships seem to get fewer options (like the Fleet Caitian escort which does not have access to fleet skins), the prices have not been changed and you still get good quality and completely functional ships for those prices: prices are the same, the product itself has, from a functional perspective, not become worse.

I doubt that's by design, make sure the bug's reported through appropriate channels.

Hm hadn't thought of that possibility to be honest. I'll do that.

Why is it never "Player Greed"? Because wanting more while paying nothing seems to be just a tad greedy to me.

cause someone always comes along and posts something like this so there is little need for another thread. where as people always think their... feedback is important enough to start a new one. for proof see the two or three threads about the same thing we get when ever something new is released.

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

again much of what was free is now pay to play.

This is factually inaccurate, nothing you have mentioned was at any time free except for very seldom and very short giveaways. Content on the console is priced and bundled the same as content on the PC (except for content which hasn't been released yet) and the best piece of advice I can give you is simply take a deep breath and have another look at what's there, how's it sold, and whether it's changed since PC went F2P. For the most part, it hasn't. I'm happy to go over this with you in more detail, provided you can come to discussion with a workable attitude.

Here's the wiki-listing on C-store content, BTW. This is the stand-alone Sojourner. It sounds like you simply bought the wrong ship, then tried to buy the right one through the ship tailor. The good news: if you pop by the shipyard or just scroll down to the Operations Star Cruiser c-store listing you can still claim the Sojourner in addition to whatever other Odyssey you bought. It amounts to more consoles, traits, skin options, and admiralty cards (once that system gets added to consoles, I don't believe it has yet.)

There used to be more zen purchase options. No idea why they removed it (like the 500 and also I think 3000 zen options). I wouldn't mind if they re-added that.

Formal wear was never free by default though as far as I know. It has been part of giveaways but that's usually just for one day only.

I appreciate your comment none of the things I mentioned were free. The thing gs which were free were clothing get options such as formal wear much more of it you have to pay for now. And how about better zen options 2k which buys noohing relevant or 5.3k how about 3k which is what most ships cost. I could be wrong and passed over a self error wouldn't be the first tI've i will cool my **** reinvestigate and bitcheese again if I turn out to be right. Thx for the varied oppinions

The formal wear was always part of a C-store pack, at least as long as I've been playing (F2P). It was part of a giveaway a while back.

3k zen is how Cryptic priced T6. 2k zen will still buy low level T5 ships (which is still fine for normal/adv content), 2.5k for higher level T5. You might want to watch out for weekend ship sales (which sometimes precede new c-store releases). Those take 20% off most ships+bundles (bringing T6 down to 2.4k zen.)

Is there a way to correct getting the wrong ship because when I purchased the sojourner I got the tactical cruiser

Don't think so, unless there turns out to be a bug switching the relevant c-store listings. Contacting support (through this website) would be the only way to address that issue. Chances are, you're stuck so approach support expecting them to tell you "sorry, can't change it." If they can, great. If not, just say thanks and end it there.
