Greetings, Admirals!
Welcome to Episodes 96-100 of Let's Play Star Trek Online - Winters Fed Walkthrough.
This series is a complete walkthrough of every aspect of the game - Story Missions, Reputations, DOFFing, Admiralty, BOFFS, Research and Development, Fleets, Crafting and End-Game Content etc. Every player, new and veteran, will find them a valuable source of information, tips and tricks. You may even learn something new! This could be anything from an accolade to a system that you didn’t fully understand or helpful hints on earning in game currencies like Energy Credits or Dilithium.
There will be a brand new episode released every Monday through Friday.
In Todays Episodes:
In this episode we play the second and third patrol missions in the Friends in Unlikely Places story mission. We start off with the "Assist Ocampa Freighter". This basically requires a couple of minutes of space combat and then it's the end of the mission. Once we have finished that we then move onto the "Argala Patrol" mission which is again basically just a few minutes of space combat again. This one is a little bit more intense but not very difficult for us.
In this episode we play the final mission "Borg Battlefield" in the "Friends in Unlikely Places" story mission. Before we start that we are given a short talk about the "Admiralty System" and "Tours of Duty". After this short discussion we then talk about the 7th Anniversary and some free giveaways that are going on at the time of this recording.
In this episode we play the story mission "Revelations". This mission features voice over from Jeri Ryan who stared as Seven of Nine in Star Trek: Voyager. We start off with some space combat which is pretty short and for the remainder of the mission it is all ground combat. You may want a pen and paper for this one just to take note of some choices that you have to make while in the ground part of the mission.
In this episode we play the first mission "Sakari Patrol" in the "Enemies In All The Usual Places" story mission. Before we start that however we stop off at the Jenolan Dyson Sphere to clear out our inventory. While here we are given a brief tour of Delta Quadrant Command and the locations of all the usual services. Once we are finished here we then proceed with the Sakari Patrol and while on route we claim todays free giveaway which is some Ship Slots and Dry Dock Slot. The Sakari Patrol is quite brief and only takes us a couple of minutes to complete.
In this episode we do some house cleaning on our toon as well as talk about some things that are going on in game at the moment. We also pick up yet another free giveaway which is two free spec points. After collecting these points we finally finish out our Pilot Specialization Tree 100%. Once we claim them we then talk about the 7th Anniversary which is currently going on. While being briefed on this we also talk about the Omega mini game which is something that only comes while the Anniversary is going on.
