Greetings, Admirals!
Welcome to Episodes 46-50 of Let's Play Star Trek Online - Winters Fed Walkthrough.
This series is a complete walkthrough of every aspect of the game - Story Missions, Reputations, DOFFing, Admiralty, BOFFS, Research and Development, Fleets, Crafting and End-Game Content etc. Every player, new and veteran, will find them a valuable source of information, tips and tricks. You may even learn something new! This could be anything from an accolade to a system that you didn’t fully understand or helpful hints on earning in game currencies like Energy Credits or Dilithium.
There will be a brand new episode released every Monday through Friday.
In Todays Episodes:
In this episode we return to ESD to get our Promotion to the rank of Rear Admiral Upper Half. As we talk about in the start of this video there isn't really a "need" to return to ESD for this promotion. But it does show that we no longer receive a free ship for levelling up. While we are back on ESD we make a quick stop off at the Boff vendor and get a new free Boff. We also stop off at the Security Officer and turn in our "defeated changeling" to get some Dilithium. Finally we go to the 50% vendor and clean out our inventory.
In this episode we play the story mission "Second Wave". This mission has a very tricky accolade that can be earned. Unfortunately we were unable to get it during this playthrough. There is also some career specific accolades that can be earned in this mission and they are shown during the playthrough.
In this episode we play the story mission "Of Bajor". At the start of the episode we are shown the second part of the Jem'hadar ground set that we are going to pick up. This mission may take you a little bit of time to complete as there is a lot of running around going from place to place. But it does make a nice difference from normal mission. It does have some ground combat as well as some space combat.
In this episode we play the story mission "Operation Gamma". This is one of those missions that you will actually need a pen and paper or do a search online for a guide/walkthrough because there is one part that has a very specific sequence depending on what career you are. As you have probably guessed there are also career specific accolades in this mission too. Obviously since we are a tactical Captain we are shown the correct way for that career but a guide/walkthrough will still be needed as it is totally random the sequence you will get.
In this episode we play the story mission "Facility 4028". This is a very linear and straight forward mission with no room to wander or go off track. It does take place on a pretty cool map but apart from that there is nothing really special about this mission.
