Greetings, Admirals!
Welcome to Episodes 11-15 of Let's Play Star Trek Online - Winters Fed Walkthrough.
This series is a complete walkthrough of every aspect of the game - Story Missions, Reputations, DOFFing, Admiralty, BOFFS, Research and Development, Fleets, Crafting and End-Game Content etc. Every player, new and veteran, will find them a valuable source of information, tips and tricks. You may even learn something new! This could be anything from an accolade to a system that you didn’t fully understand or helpful hints on earning in game currencies like Energy Credits or Dilithium.
There will be a brand new episode released every Monday through Friday.
In Todays Episodes:
In this episode we play the mission "Task Force Hippocrates". This is a nice short mission and only takes us about 10 minutes to complete.
In this episode we get an introduction into the "Duty Officer" System. We return back to Sol System and beam down to Starfleet Academy. We are given a short tour and shown where Bank, Mail, Exchange Access and where the Tailor is. From there we are show pretty much all aspects and features to do with the "Duty Officer" System. We are also show how to recruit new Duty Officers (Doffs) and increase the number we have in our roster. Once we are finished with the "Duty Officer" System we are show a nice little daily that is very worth while doing called "The Path to 2409". This daily rewards a nice little bit of xp but more importantly it rewards a really nice little bit of Dilithium once every 20 hours. After that we are also shown a handy little accolade for any accolade hunters out there.
In this mission we play the story mission "Skirmish". This is a nice short 12 minute mission with an interesting piece of gear at the end as a mission reward item.
In this episode we play the story mission "Spin the Wheel". In this mission we are shown the correct sequence needed to proceed forward in the mission. While we are on the Drozana station we are also shown one of the many sequences to play Dabo that can reward you with a really high payout! When we are finished on Drozana we make our way to Deep Space K-7. There we do a side mission that will unlock the ability to do PvP in the game.
In this episode we play the mission "What Lies Beneath". This mission takes about 20 minutes to complete so there is a fair bit of running around. It's not very difficult and has a nice bit of ground combat.
