The Nexus was an extra-dimensional realm in which one's thoughts and desires shape reality. Inside the Nexus, time and space had no meaning, allowing one to visit any time and any place that one could imagine. The doorway to the Nexus was a violent, destructive temporal energy ribbon which crossed through the galaxy every 39.1 years, among others in 2293, 2332, 2371, and 2410.

Take a look at the last year there, 2410. This is the year that Yesterday's War and Future Proof return you to as the present year. So all this time travel nonsense can be attributed to the fact that we're all having the same bad acid trip in the Nexus. Soon we will emerge from the other side and all this will be forgotten, like the bad dream that it is.

If I was sucked into the Nexus I sure as hell wouldn't imagine fighting a misshapen lump of silly putty and a bunch of Nakhul with a guy in an H.R. Giger bondage suit. I want my money back.

That's interesting about the Nexus coming back in 2410. I'd forgotten all about that. I wonder if they'll bring it into the game somehow.
