Ranger BC T5U option?

Anyone know if the Ranger class can be upgraded to T5U? If so, what extra console does it get?

I know Cryptic's intention is to have us buy the Paladin as well, but I've only got Z for the Ranger itself, but have a spare upgrade token in the bank.

Plus, getting the Pioneer bridge built in is a bonus...

    I've heard that it's not upgradeable.

    Can confirm this, the Ranger is stuck on T5. Both the denied upgrade and the very different boff loayouts are weird choices. even for cryptic.

    So, in practical terms the Ranger is a 2000Z skin for the Paladin. Well, that's a doozy. Thanks for saving me the Zen, guys...

    Surprisingly the Sagittarius does a decent job at filling the Ranger's shoes. Also having a lt.cmdr tac, lt.cmdr sci and 3 consoles each is pretty much a T6 version of the Ranger's layout.
