Amusingly, the actor that portrayed Sarek also portrays the Romulan Captain in Balance of Terror.

Actually, an interesting bit of "Trek" History is just how many historic characters that actor did portray. His name is Mark Lenard.

    A Short List:
The 1st Romulan shown on Star Trek (TOS)
The 1st "Ridged" Klingon shown in Star Trek: The Motion Picture
Sarek (TOS, TNG, Star Trek I, II, III, IV...)
He was also cast as "Abraham Lincoln" in a TOS episode, but was unavailable
He was also cast to replace Nimoy if Nimoy didn't return for Season 2 of TOS

Like I said, just an interesting bit of history.
    Admiral Jisil T'ror
    Admiral Sovak
“Does anyone remember when we used to be explorers...”
