If you were to ask me last month for two things that I thought would never happen in STO, I would have said a TOS-themed faction/expansion and STO coming to consoles. And now we're getting both. How 'bout that?
My first thought on the console front was, "how the heck are they gonna fit the controls on that thing?!" Granted, that radial power wheel thing sounds interesting, ground will probably be fine, but I'm not sure how well it will work with the sheer number of BOff and Captain powers in space combat (let alone add-on things like Console/Gear Set/Reputation/Specialization powers). I imagine click-heavy tasks like 'Space Barbie' will be a PITA to manage as well; hopefully it all works though so that more peeps can enjoy the game.
I probably won't try it on consoles (too much of a PC guy), but I'd be interested in seeing someone else try it and compare the experiences.
