Fleet & Armada "Quality of Life" Improvements

Dear Star Trek Online Player Base,

Help me in letting the Devs know that we would appreciate a few "quality of life" improvements to our Fleets and Armadas. While there may be a lot of other areas that need little improvements, this thread will focus on just these three (which I believe may not be too difficult to implement - but I'm no programmer). They are also some suggestions that a few Devs said they would possibly look into.

1. Increase the Fleet Ranking system from 7 to a total of 10-12. This would allow Fleet Leaders to better manage their members. For example with 10 or 12 ranks we would be able to reserve a rank for visiting Armada members, or even put an M.I.A. rank for players that are away for awhile. In any case increasing the number of ranks would let us manage our members a lot better.

2. Armada email. Allow fleet leaders to be able to send out armada wide email. I know some may not want this, so put in place the ability for other leaders (or perhaps even at the individual level) to block armada emails for those fleets/members that don't want to receive them.

3. Increase Fleet Bank slots. I believe with all the new gear in the game Fleets should be able to purchase another 1-2 slots or perhaps increase the number of items that can be placed in the current slots.

If you have any other suggestions let us know here. I just chose perhaps 3 that, again I believe, would be easy to implement. Thank you for your time and help and thanks to the Devs for their hard work as well. Their work is appreciated.

Armada-wide email and perhaps armada-wide events would add to the "unity" of the armada. The fleet ranks I think are fine where they are but I wouldn't argue if there were more. And, fleet bank slots could be useful but I think there are many who have personal fleets for the bank slots. That would probably make it a no go for Cryptic. I think they are fine the way they are now, but again, I wouldn't argue with more.

We're not supposed to post petitions. And it's supposed to be in the Feedback section under the fleet system. Trendy might end up closing this. But they do let you create polls, so you might consider doing that instead.

On topic, I don't disagree with any of what you asked for even if I have my doubts about whether we'll get all of those.

The ability to use higher quality doffs for their corresponding assignments and receive credit based on rarity.

How about giving us the ability to visit another Starbase in our armada and purchase fleet ships they have access to that OUR fleet might not ... maybe charge more dil/fleet creds/or ship modules per ship as a "tax" for not having unlocked it ourselves.

How about an Armada HQ, where people in the smaller fleets can access all the different fleet stores of the alpha fleets without having to ask for invites. It would make it a lot easier if I could just go get what I want from the different holdings. This should not be an issue since we use our own fleet's provisions, although might take some programming.

I like the Armada email/events idea's as well.

1. This is not a "recruitment" thread so it wouldn't go under ESD/Qonos or New Romulus.

2. Edited so it's no longer a "petition" but simply a suggestion like when people want a T6 that or a T6 this.

3. This was in no way "spamming" for myself but a suggestion to the community for the game, so I would appreciate you don't take it there.

Thanks I changed it so it doesn't look like a petition but simply a suggestion. I was going to create a poll but figured people are sick of those and now it's to late to edit it into a poll nor am I able to move it into the Fleet System Feedback, but still a "general suggestion thread".

Pretty sure Trendy will forgive on this and she can move it there instead.

Those are some good ideas. Sorting and exporting for the purpose of fleet management needs some love.

Buying Doffs for fleets is a pain,

You have to buy the Doff boxes..

Open the Doff Boxes...

Then you Submit the Doffs.

ALOT of menus and windows to go threw.

Just give us a slider for Doffs and they automatically open and are but in doff roster and then you can submit them to a fleet project.



Quality of life issues.

Buying anything in game. Why are some sliders at 100,250 1000 ?

ALL Sliders should be 1000 in all the stores in the game. CAN WE PLEASE HAVE THIS.

That would mean peeps with a ship yard at a low Tier would no longer have *any* incentive to see their own Tier upgraded. Tl;dr: never gonna happen.

No offense, but did you read my entire suggestion? I offered a way to keep that incentive to upgrade ...

The idea is for it to be attainable, not "ideal"

Remove the dil requirements for fleet projects.

"Support the dil exchange reaching 500 to 1!!"
