Which one would you chose and why?

So I returned from a long stent of time...
and I got a small problem... a delightful problem to be sure...
I can't decide which of my toons to place my work on....

I got the Tactical Starfleet officer with the follow ships:
Patrol Escort
Exploration Cruiser
D'kyr science vessel
Dreadnought Carrier
Multi-vector adv escort
Jem'hadar heavy escort cruiser
Jem'hadar dreadnought carrier
Operations Commands Battlecruiser T6
Advanced heavy cruiser
Caitan Atrox

I got the Romulan Engineer with these shings:
Dyson Science (upgraded)
Scrimitar Dreadnought
Fleet Moghai heavy
Dhelan warbird
Tulwar dreanought
Tal'shiar adapted battlecruiser
mogai heavy warbird
d'deridex warbird
falchion dreadnought
fleet d'deridex

I got the Romulan Tactical with these ships:
Paradox Temporal
Scimitar dreadnought
ha'fef assault
ar'kif tactical
mirror dhelan
d'deridex battle cruiser
dyson science (upgraded)
tulwar dreanought
flachion dreadnought
support cruiser
dinase warbird

So which one is most valuable? I can have equally fun on them, thats the problem... which one would you chose and why?

You've got 2 tacs and an Engie.

    Hm... well...

Are they all equally invested in or is one farther ahead than the others? Ships alone doesn't mean much. Its the gear as well. You could have a lot of ships and have TRIBBLE gear. Not saying you do in this case, but I'm just making a point. In the case of the two Romulans, any C-Store ships one has the other would have as well due to account unlock. It also looks like you have some lockbox/lobi ships on them as well.

All I can really suggest is play all of them, and whichever one you enjoy the most, run with more. *shrug*

Probably the Tactical Fed character, seeing as the Federation get's the most love in STO.
Fed: Eng Lib Borg (Five) Tac Andorian (Shen) Sci Alien/Klingon (Maelrock) KDF:Tac Romulan KDF (Sasha) Tac Klingon (K'dopis)
Founder, member and former leader to Pride Of The Federation Fleet.

the thread title is completely misleading. as for what you want i couldnt give a damn, besides its ultimately your choice what you do as none of us can make that choice for you.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

I would stow your bad attide in the lockbox of mischief and try and understand that I am asking for advice, and your bad attitude, aint good advice.

    Process of Elimination

You have two Tactical characters, one of them can take a backseat. Then you've just got to decide whether you want to play as a Tactical (pew pew) or an Engineer which can (usually) hold out longer in battles, and better aid opponents (healing etc).

There are obviously pros and cons in whatever your decision, but ultimately it's what you like doing when playing, and which character/ship setup you most enjoy. It's good that you've got a vast selection of ships regardless of character, because the game is a little stale as of late so you can mix it up a bit if you get bored.

aye, the thing is, I love the tal'shiar ship cause it looks awesome... but I also love the sleep dyson ship and the awesome paradox temporal, I think I will play the romulans both the engineer and the tactical... but its a shame I can move my ships to my characters. it is also as if I would pay zen to be able to transfer them between toons

You want a purely numbers opinion ?

You take that Rom Tac and shove as many Romulan SRO Boffs into your ship stations as you can (for their inherent +CrtH/CrtD bonuses).
And FaW you're way to incredible DPS heights. Vaporizing everything that get's within range.

Not other Species has as much CrtH/CrtD bonuses available to them. Plain and simple, you're greatest potential for DPS lies with the Romulan Tac.

Myself, I would suggest you keep them all, and throw in a Sci, to give you all the variety you will ever need.
You then pick a main, and run the rest as doff/admiralty money makers (and play them when in the mood to experiment).

And just so you understand, Sci and Eng are very capable DPS dealers, it's just Tacs, in particular, Rom Tacs have quite an advantage right off the bat compared to other species, due to their SRO boffs. "Superior Romulan Operative" space trait.

You're main is whatever you're enjoying most.
Like others said Fed's get the most Dev attention, KDF get the scraps.

Tac: Brute Strength - BUT ***Also to be noted, since Tacs buff Science power with Alpha/GDF etc, they make better use of science skills then Science Captains, yes, you read that correctly. They are better science users the Science captains.

Eng: You have one, so you should know how they play, energy/heal focused. Ground is very fun with eng.

Sci: Very classy. You pick apart opponents with Crowd Contol/AoE abilities, shut down enemies and drain their system power dry, all while casting off -Resistance debuffs, as you swoop in for the kill with your finger on the Torp Spread or TBR.
You're like a surgeon operating, taking your opponent apart piece by piece.

(But take special note of Tacs using science abilities; as cool as Sci captains are, they just dont pack the same punch as a Tac using science skill, it's really my biggest gripe about STO).
But this is just the way it is.

Myself I have 2 mains, a Sci and a Tac. I use em pretty equally.
    Hope that helps you decide.

IMHO lose the engineer and flip a coin on the tacs, or just keep all three.. why not? each has a hard to get/impossible to get ship in the inventory, and before someone says T%/%U are TRIBBLE, BS I love my recluse and Jemnoughts

Hi Hi Hi... I do have a Sci, I just did not want to post him since he don't have all the amount of ships, he "only" got
    advanced escort
    tactical escort
    D'kyr science
    and Wells Temporal Science vessel

The wells is quite rare these days...
