how long did it take you to get your fleet base and all sub base tiers to tier 5

it has taken my fleet just under 3 years to get to tier 5 we are now tier 5 on all except sci which we have 20 more projects to complete to get the last upgrade for that how long has it taken you guys and did you find it easy to get to tier 5 or was it a slow process and do you Believe it was worth the struggle in the end or do you look back and think there are better things you could have spend you ec and dil on
