Tribble ticket #49,744: Camera distance resets after being set with /camdist
http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1431521

The camera distance resets after I set it using the command /camdist. Sometimes, the camera distance resets immediately. Sometimes, it may take up to 10 seconds or so. Sometimes, the camera distance does not reset until I log the character out and log back in. Watch the video below.

    Problem still exists!
And with the new Dreadnoughts Ships the camera distance is a real Problem. How about Fixing the "camdist" command so the camera stays?

It seems that someone found my bug report after almost two years. I currently use the following keybind to work around this issue:

    camdist 90 $$ AdjustCamDistance 0 $$ camdist 90

This is one of the zoom bugs that came with the sector space revamp of Season 10. There are older zoom bugs that date back to Season 6:

Holodeck ticket 3,271,917: Camera zoom bug from Season 6
Holodeck ticket 3,388,864: Saved mini-map zoom levels are not being loaded

Unfortunately, we've had to learn to live with annoying bugs like this over the years. By the way, if anyone knows a command to set the minimap zoom level, let me know. I would like to add that to my keybind too.
