Wrong (escort) mastery passives on the Mat'Ha raptor

The Mat'Ha raptor should as a raptor get raptor/destroyer mastery passives (like the Fleet Qin, Somraw or Peghqu'): +5% accuracy, +2,5% crit chance, +15% crit damage and +10% damage to energy and kinetic damage.

Currently, instead of the +15% Critical damage, it receives +5% defense. Thus it has identical mastery passives to escorts.


This is not nearly a visual bug or a description error. The wrong escort mastery passives are truly applied upon leveling the Mat'Ha.

I didn't realise this was a thing. While the Raptors are probably the KDFs closest thing to a pure escort, they're also just as close to destroyers, they're a middle ground.

Seems like cryptic are trying to shoe horn Raptors into the escort category to make their excel sheet of ship across factions look balanced?

The Original Launch Dev Blog Lists the Mastery As the Following:

• Starship Mastery Package (Escort/Raptor)
  • Precise Weapon Systems (+Accuracy)

I was just about to post that link.

Apparently raptors are supposed to have escort mastery passives (while I'm at that, could anyone confirm the Fleet Qin and Fleet Somraw also get the escort mastery passives?), thus this bug report is now baseless. Thanks Gorgonzolla.
