Praises and curses to the RNG god(s)

This thread is dedicated to the RNG god(s).

The rule is simple: Provide two descriptions of your experience with the RNG god(s) - 1 positive and 1 negative.

Please be brief and have fun. This is your chance to brag and rant about your luck or faith in the Random Number Generator(s). I'll start.

With only 7% chance I successfully upgraded the Dyson WC from stock Rare to Ultra Rare, woot!

I *bought* three Delta Lockboxes (due to lack of play time recently) and using my last three Lockbox keys for the month, I got the requisite Lobi ... and three Delta Kits I won't use and sell on the Exchange for >30K.

    I dont have a RNG god because none of that ever happened to me:(

    :) Got an UR to Epic upgrade on my fleet warp core taking it from xii to Xiii. Only thing I was planning on forcing to epic for the W->S mod.

    :( Took me about 3 days of constant crafting to get 4 AP [crtd]x3 DHC'S and a DBB.

    I do have a negative: Tried to upgrade a breen impulse but lost 100K EC and I only needed 2 dlithium but I couldnt refine anymore, but got the 2 the next day and I got the breen impulse to MK XII purple

    my fleet shield went gold right off the bat!

    However I have a DBB AP weapon that won't go at all --- its [over] [critdx2] and I am about ready to just bank it and start another one from MK2 (which is where THIS one started).

    negative: just a few minutes ago, had 5 crtdx3 mk2 rare weapons, upgraded them with experimental kits plus quality improvement boosters to gain 20% chance. 25 tries, not a single beam did upgrade to ultra rare...

    positive: opened 1620 lockboxes so far, not a single ship... oh thats negative too... hm cannot remember a positive experience:(

    I managed to make a mk5 Epic warp core once.

    Upgrading set cores ont he other hand...

    Best: I got 2 Epic beam arrays from the same batch, one with exactly what I wanted and one with decent enough to be happy about it.

    Worst: A lockbox with a reward of 4 white duty officers and 1 green (once opened) along with 4 lobi. Multiple times.
    Wow. There is a new KDF Science ship. I'll be!

    Best: I opened a Hirogen lockbox and got a hunter escort on my first try:).

    Worst: every lockbox I opened after that:mad:.

    Upgraded the Assimilated Console to UR with 4% chance!

    One of my BAs is at 21% and has yet to upgrade (which maybe shouldn't be expected I guess).

    3 particle exciters with PrtG, on my first 3 attempts.

    Nothing of note since.
    5 rounds of upgrading my warpcore at mk xiv to get Elite. Was very costly.
