Borg Red Alerts on Tribble

I just spent the last couple hours watching the sirius sector block on tribble to see how the latest build changes the alerts.
Just one tiny problem. They don't seem to trigger on tribble at all.
So is this a tribble only feature or are we expecting a retreat of the borg menace on holodeck soon too? :P
