This game does not have a skill tree!

After 30 minutes of reading this forum I am fed up.

A tree has branches. A skill tree has branching paths.

Star Trek online has a Skill LINE.

    It still is a "tree" in the crudest sense, since you need to spend skillpoints in the lower "branches" to unlock the upper ones.

    If anthing i'd call it a "skillpyramid"...a line would mean you have no choice and would make skilling redundant.

    also the trem skilltree is a generic term, not necessarely meant to describe a skill system similar to branches on a tree.
