What ship do you still miss within STO.

    Only ship i want is a good Galaxy Class, not that miserable excuse for a starship Cryptic calls Galaxy -R.

    Without it, STO is not a Star Trek Game for me.

    (god help me with the spelling)

    Vulcan Surrok class ?, basically the elongated one from ENT... my she was a pretty ship unlike the current in game vulcan ship (in my opinion of course)

    Also, while its unlikely the proxima refit from legacy :D

    Constellation Class for sure.

    Especially if it's like i was in "Birth of the Federation" game..a Defiant-lite. Maybe some more/less mix of turn rate, sector speed, warp speed, shields, BOff layout vs. Defiant.

    But I really want this.

    Maybe that will be a mission reward (a la Ambassador class) if/when we are introduced to the Ferengi as a playable faction; Stargazer, prototype Chroniton Flux Capacitor that has side effect of time dilation effects, the Ferengi want it.

    Or, skip that and I will still pay for that thing. Fast.

    I'd really like some So'na ships (See Star Trek:Insurrection)
    Not sure how you'd tack them onto a faction, but they look awesome.

    Other than that, maybe that brown vaguely triangular ship a dozen different species use in TNG...

    As far as i know Cryptics devs they will make it a super Cruiser, featureing some 360 degrees heavy Beam Array, a CMDR tactical BOFF, 4-5 Tact Console slots and one or two Hangar slots.
    Before you can say knife, one of them would be able to single-handedly take out 3 Galaxy Class ships, LOL.

    Always thought the freedom was a little weird. I like ships that defy conventional 2 nacelles designs but that one bugged me.

    There's a design of a starship called the Challenger someone came up with that has a stealth jet look to it on the web. It's got two nacelles but looks pretty aerodynamic.

    Been partial to a newer version of a Remora Class Escort myself.

    Sahara

    Most especially a Yeager, Springfield and a Modern Twist on the Huron.

    But I'm more interested in them actually making the ships a bit different for the purposes of making them a bit more unique. Right now in the science side of things a sci is a sci is a sci unless you get a Vesta or a Pasteur.

    i want to see more custom ships from both the rr and the kdf, though i'm not a player of kdf, i just like the cryptic designs that they have come up with.

    for the feds, i want to see more full circle fleet designs both the Merian class and Galen class sound interesting as well as the vertical nacelles ship, the Vienna II class, then again the spirit class would be nice. i like all of mark rademaker's ships, though i know it would take time to get the license for them.

    I want the Merian-class to replace the ShiKahr-class. That's pretty much it right now.

    instead of the shikahar i say to replace the miranda class. the shikahar is a 25th cen ship modeled off of the miranda, so take the miranda out and put in the Merian, then make a fleet ver or a tier 5 of it, easier to explain then a tier 5 miranda that nearly 130 to 140 year old ship holding up with a ship that is jest off the line.

    *for those who don't know: like the Cheyenne it's a Wolf 359 wreckage ship

    For KDF I'd like to see the Chancellor class from the IKS Gorkon novel series...it's an advanced battlecruiser with highly sophisticated sensors. Should be possible just like the Luna and the Vesta.
    The ship is already mentioned in "The Path to 2409".

    The Springfield and New Orleans classes are the last two great looking canon designs missing from STO.

    See, that'd be fantastic! Seeing that often-disregarded little brick tearing apart a Tactical Cube, 1hiting the gateway then killing the rest of his team and stealing their omega marks...

    Merian class. I always loved the Miranda (and the Soyuz class was a favourite as well) so a "modern" interpretation was always going to be welcomed. The Merian class is beautiful and a natural progression for the style. Make it tier 5 or 5.5 and I'll pay money for it on at least 2 toons of my 9.

    Other than that I still want a K'Vort. I want its looks and you can give it the Chel Grett's stats and Boff layout and I'm one happy dark elf (take away the special console and add just a bog-standard cloak and I'm still happy).

    I would like (stress - LIKE) a Romulan science class vessel at lower levels but since I'm already nearly lvl 50 on my kdf/reman and fed/romulan this will only be the a temptation to roll another Rom/Rem toon.

    I wouldn't mind a Dauntless class. I know it was an alien knock off, but considering the time the Voyager crew spent aboard her and studying it, it's completely possible the Federation could build one. It's a bit of a funky looking ship, but it had personality. A lot like the Defiant.

    Anything else... A new zen store Negh'var retrofit with the big disruptor cannons that blew out DS9's shields with one volley.

    And a Galaxy class starship that didn't suck along with a Galaxy Dreadnought without horrible model/texture errors.

    I would like a playable orion "shuttle" (slaver, interceptor or somehting).

    And maybe some Delta quadrant ships. :)

    There isn't really a specific non-canon class I'd like to see. And they've run out of canon ships that aren't awful.

    Some things I'd like...
    • Fleet versions of all remaining ships that don't have one (yes, even that one)
    • "2409"-style modern versions of some ships, like the Excelsior or Ambassador
    • An original design Federation Dreadnought Carrier (perhaps based on the old Typhoon)
    • More playable alien ships on the KDF side- like a Ferasen HEC

    I would like to see a Starfleet version of the fresarius.

    Maybe the First Federation has joined the UFP and shared its technology.
    (This could be a excellent featured episode btw.)
    So Starfleet gets fresarius type ships, which of course get adapted to UFP technology.
    So they wouldn't be OP as in the accordring TOS episode.

    Just my 2 cents.

    I'd like to see this as a playable ship: Click :D Seriously I'd like to see playable Borg ships, even if it would only be a probe or a sphere.

    There are playable ships from the Tholians, Cardassians, Ferengi, Dominion and even ships from the future, why no Borg ships?

    Though I completely agree with yreodred - an improved Galaxy class would be top of my personal list.

    There's a thread in Federation Shipyard about improving the Galaxy class with over 2,300 posts and 70,000 views. Seems like the devs aren't listening. :(
